InkCycle Drives Lean Manufacturing with addition of Director of Manufacturing Operations
With extensive experience in Total Quality Management and Lean Manufacturing, Keith Riley has already made marked improvement in plant operations.
LENEXA, Kansas, July 22, 2010 — Seven months ago, when InkCycle added Keith Riley as Director of Manufacturing Operations, his impact had been felt in several of the region’s most efficient production facilities. Riley has experienced more than 15 years of experience in budgeting, planning and leading teams to achieve operational best practices practice performance. His effectiveness at building cross-functional teams has already made a positive impact on the company.
Riley, an Iola, Kansas native, graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He worked for E&E Display Group while attending college, and moved into a Supervisory role after completing his degree. As Manufacturing Manager at Emerson, he served as the company’s Lean Business Leader. He moved on to MartinLogan, a stereo and home theater speaker manufacturer in Lawrence, Kansas, where he served as Vice President of Operations. His main responsibility was to drive strategic operations requirements to support the sales growth of the company. He also developed the Lean and Six Sigma best practices process for the company. Most recently, Riley held an Operations Director position at Polytainers, Inc., a company that designs, produces and prints thinwall rigid plastic containers for the food and dairy industry.
“We look for Keith to play a very key role in managing the operations of our business and leading our activities as we finalize ISO 9001:2008 and 14001 registrations. His extensive experience with implementing change in a manufacturing environment is exactly what we need to ensure that we continue to grow and evolve and retain our position as the Worldwide Leader In Remanufacturing Technology,“ Brad Roderick, Executive Vice President, said.
